corrupt XP installion
I'm having a problem loading WINsowsXP PRO on to a HD formatted in NTFS . A faulty prog CD is causing a only a partial installation it reaches 13 mins to go then hovers - end of installation. Further attemps to install reach the same point end of... The supplier is changing the XP c d as faulty. My problem arises when I switch on the pc it immediatley launches into the installion prog, How can I access the H D to delete part installed XP files? unable to boot up from a MS boot up floppy to delete the files via DOS. Any help appriciated.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Alternatively, you'd need a NTFS boot floppy or CD. Have a look at http://www.ntfs.com/boot-disk.htm for a start.
It will then tell you that there is already a version installed and ask if you want to remove it.
Just follw instructions from there.
