As for fitting them all our chimneys are class 1 i.e.solid brick with no flu liner so the woodburners fitted fine after taking out the old fireplaces. I re pointed the old brickwork after I gave it a good clean, fitted stone hearths to suit. You may need a steel register plate above the burner to accommodate the flue. Then get a HETAS approved contractor to check things out for you. Total price depends on your d.i.y. skills and type of flu in place. If in doubt get the HETAS man in first. ps they eat a tree a night between them...............but there carbon neutral...........and you can cook stew on them.Good luck..regards Ron
