Who won his class at Driffield Championship Show. His dad was again Best of Breed. I met George with Mr and Mrs Thug and he is certainly living up to his 'handsome' nickname. He has matured into a really stunning dog and he absolutely loves everybody, a wonderful advert for the breed.
Congratulations lankeela, I bet you must be very proud of him! We do not own any dogs, but I was bought up with dogs in our househould and miss the affection they provide. I am a slave of 2 cats in my house and they keep me on my toes! Once again congratulations!
Cheers Sue
Thanks lankeela, we're on a roll at the moment we only need one more 1st at PG and we'll be in Limit. I looked for your name in the catalogue for Driffield and didn't see it. Were you there? Tell me I didn't ignore you? It was such a social day for mastiff people. Glynn has decided that we're going to swap dogs to see if it makes a difference. That could be interesting. Have you seen the SKC show report for mastiffs which was in DG last week? I love my boy!
Well done Mr and Mrs Thug and of course George. Hope I get to met this young man one day. Nothing to stop you moving up to Limit now, you dont need to win out of the class to move up, although I appreciate it can be a scary prospect!
Yes I was there and I spoke to you twice! The first time you were with Glyn and the second time it was by the Mastiff ring and I was holding a dog for Kim and Emma. I did say good luck and I would try to watch your class but I had a committee meeting there (I wasn't actually entered). He really is looking good, and although it should not make a difference, having a 'face' on the end of the lead certainly won't hurt his chances.
Jules - I've been away for a while, sorry I didn't reply sooner. We've entered LKA in December in PG as we didn't anticipate winning quite so much. But I think any show we enter after that we'll move up to Limit. Not quite a s scary for Mastiffs as there aren't nearly so many in the classes.
Lankeela - you have now solved a puzzle. I'd looked in the catalogue to see if you were showing but your name wasn't there. Mr thug looked at you curiously and asked me who you were. I knew that I knew you but couldn't place which Mastiff you owned. Der! I needed to think out of the box! And your hair is much longer. Sorry I didn't recognise you I would have loved a longer chat.
