Where in the Maldives?
4 Answers
My h2b and I are looking at the Maldives for our Honeymoon next year after we get married.
Having not been before any recommendations would be helpful....
I really like watersports - oddly enough all the nice resorts I have picked out in the brochures seem to have limited facilities - eg boards games/ chess/ volleyball! Im looking for somewhere with banana boats, ringos and parasailing- a little bit more active! Dont really want to go all that way to sit and play board games! The 'not so nice' resorts/ cheaper resorts seem to have these facilities!
As its our Honeymoon we want a resort with something extra nice about it but would like the watersports too, without a compromise on either requirement.
We dont have a huge amount of money to spend - about 1500 each for 10-14 nights. Also needs tobe All inclusive. Anywhere meet this requirment?!
Thanks :)

Tropical Discounts is another good site. Read reviews for any resprt you are considering. Paradise Island and Eriyadhu both have lots of building work going on (may have changed by next year though) - as do some of the others. Tripadvisor is very good for finding this stuff out. You can also send messages to people who have posted reviews on that site which is useful.
There are also dive boats that you can spend the week on sailing around - which can work out less than staying ina resort - though whether these give you the chance to try other parasailing etc I don't know.
Hope you find what you're after and have a great time.
