no pictures

Hi
for the last 3 days all i seem to be getting is a white square with a red cross in it instead of pictures this has happened on a few sitesi have been on?
i have cleared the cache+temporary files but no good any ideas how to fix it please? its driving me mad!

I assume you are using Internet Explorer. Try selecting Tools, Internet Options then the Advanced Tab. Ensure that in the Multimedia section "Show Pictures" is ticked. Sorry, this is all I can think of!

have tried that but just reinstalled explorer 8 seems to have done the trick thx anyway
