Am I the only one who thinks that you should wait until you have lived quite a long time before you write an autobiography?
I was just reading a news report about Leona Lewis getting punched when she was signing copies of hers. How can enough have happened in her life so far to fill a whole book?
Have any of you ABers ever bought an autobiography by one of these young 'stars'?

I don't watch X-Factor so no wonder I didn't know who they were.lol
well not exactly, i used to cut out the Donny Osmond Column from Fab 208 in about 1970, i kept the cuttings in a scrapbook, but I grew out of it quickly.
I don't watch x-factor daffy, so you're not alone. I certainly wouldn't buy/read an autobiography by anyone so young either.

I've recently read Barbara Windsor's autobiography, 'All of Me', which was quite interesting & even though she's practically a dinosaur compared to Leona Lewis, she looks good for all of her 72 years!

P.S. Just read this:

My 12 year old has read mylie Cyrus's autobiography but I agree daffy live life a bit first but fame for these people probably won't last long so they have to make money while they can
Agree Daffy - autobiography at the tender of 20ish, bit silly really.

Not nice about Leona getting punched though, there are dodgy people about.

At least Babs Windsor has had a long and very interesting life to write about, probably enough for more than one book!
I understand these so called young stars need to make money ,but their books must be either really dull or they make up stuff to sound interesting. I have no opinion on Leona Lewis as I know nothing about her or her music, but at her age she can't have experienced enough life to write a comic about, let alone a whole book.

Thanks for the link smudge,Perez Hilton's article said pretty much the same as the one I read on MSN home page.

Peri,I don't even know who Mylie Cyrus is....i'm must be old.lol

Den,it is awful that someone punched her for no apparent reason,I hope the bloke gets prosecuted and not let off with a slap on the wrist.
Actually daffy, apart from reading the 'All of Me' book, one of my dear friends sent me some spoken word tapes of it, which I've been listening to in bed. My God, Barbara Windsor (aka/nee Deeks) certainly has had a very fullfilling & interesting life!

I'm now reading Julie Walter's 'That's Another Story' - also very interesting & comical!

Poor Leona though - it must have really shaken her up.
...I must be old too! ;o}
Occasionally i do, but only when they have found there way into a charity shop and cost 50p.
