Afternoon all,

Just to let you know that the AnswerBank on facebook is the real one and we understand if you want to keep AnswerBank a dirty secret! In fairness, we would if we could!

We will be using FB to keep people up to date with anything happening on AnwserBank of note (i.e. new articles, a particularly good debate or really bad jokes) - at worst you can block us!

Aside from Facebook frolics we have had to contend with the huge solid grey sky which seems to be squatting over AnswerBank Towers - it looks depressing out there... I hope you've got some sun in your region!

The nights are going a little odd again Dot. I know I can't be bothered to come on or contribute when I see the waffle... At least they're not as abusive as they used to be but still an unplesant vibe at times.

That's a good word to describe it CD, waffle, and yes I know what you mean about the atmosphere. I think it is bacause the green names have gone and totally strange names appear as though they have been here forever.

I don't think it matters whether the names are green or not. I think the substance is much the same. At least this way greenies get a chance which they weren't always getting at one point.

No one mentioned having to sign into FaceBook in order to access AB, that's not even possible to do! All the Ed has done is made a profile on a social network site (FB) and requested (note requested!!) if we'd like to join. You either want to and do so, or you dont. It's no conspiricy and it's not compulsery.

Next time you get your knickers in a twist, make sure you know what you're on about eh?

rofl, sorry A.Guest, but it does my nut in when someone (In this case the Ed) does something totally innocent and innoculous and folk start having a go at them, convinced there's some dark ulterior motive thing going on.

The AB FaceBook, profile really is an inocent as it sounds. It's a profile made by AB, nothing more, nothing less. You either join or you dont. And you certainly dont have to to access it to get to this forum, as you're obviously proving right now!

I want to be part of it - but don't want it showing as a 'friend' in my friend list. My username on here will be so easily guessed once someone see's my facebook profile - I'd rather stay semi-anonymous.
