You probably won't get much help with childcare as �35000 is quite a lot for a household income. Does your work provide any support? What about part-time/evening work? Your employer has to consider flexible ways of working now.

I think the ceiling is a gross income of �55k but I would check this before quoting me!!
You will be entitled to the child tax credit which I think is �48 per month. It really depends on the total amount of child care costs you would be paying.
FIrst of all try the Inland Revenue site, I think they have a quick calculator on there.
