Live8 Poll

THIS is a link to a BBC survey about Live8.

Just wondering what you answerbank music lovers think about it. Pink Floyd (V.deservedly IMHO) have lead the way from the outset but it appears Madonna is slowly catching them.

I thought annie lennox was far better than madonna..

I thought razorlight and the killers were top class.

but pink floyd blew them all away.

I agree , for me Annie Lennox, Madonna, Razorlight and The Who were excellent and i didnt think that they could be topped but along came the Floyd and showed everyone just how good they are and that they are on a different level to the rest. Sheer Class

Obviously Pink Floyd, the Who and Sir Paul were stunning, but from where i was in the crowd (front row) R.E.M also had loads of people rocking along whereas Madonna had to physically plead with everyone to sing.  Also why does everyone overlook U2 i think they are one one of the greatest bands ever and when they came out the with Beautiful Day opening riff and the really bassy version of Vertigo the crowd went mad.  My personal favourite only because no-one else will vote for them.
