Are the same people who think the Eu is a bad idea and hate everything about the same people who are conviniantly going to use EU rules to get what they want.

I'm talking about the fox hunting mob who are mostly tory and against the EU, but quite happy to use their rules when it suits them.

Isn't this rather hipocritical really.

Not all pro hunt people are Tory and it also does not necessarily follow that pro hunt people are anti EU. You mention 3 distinct groups that if where a Venn diagram would be 3 circles overlapping and I would imagine that the overlap area of all three would be quite small. I know a lot of pro EU Tories and I imagine that New Labour has it's own share of Eurosceptics. Any or all of the groups you mention would optimize the chances of them getting their own way by using the current laws that we have, irrespective of whether you personally agree with them, so I don't think it's hypocritical, just expedient.
Are you a working class socialist by any chance Eupraxia?
I am against the EU and foxhunting, would never vote labour and come from a working class background....outside lavvy, tin bath in the kitchen on a friday, the lot (Mr W too!) I guess we're in our own little circle?

No Gevs I'm not anything. Just put forward that its funny how some people can make such an effort to put something down until it serves them in some way.

No not all of them are tory but a lot are.

I don't vote Labour or Tory. Thats not to say I don't vote because there are other parties to choose from.

Not that how I vote should make a difference. My opinion still remains.

You either stick to what you believe or you sell out.

You don't decide something is useful but the rest of it isn't.

I don't believe shooting is wrong because at the end of the day what is hunted serves a perpose. It's usually eaten, Not chased until its exhausted and ripped to pieces.

There is no argument that can justify what they do.

PS Gevs Is being a socialist Wrong or something. If it means I have respect for all life on this planet and the belief that all things should be treated with a little respect then yea I am.

Are you a right winger with no respect for anything?

I'm definitely against giving Europe more control over our economy.
I'm also against joining the Euro and abandoning our own currency. I'm sure that there are swathes of arguments for and against that I'm not even aware of but I just get annoyed when people think that the entire debate starts and ends with "but it'd be easier to spend money on holiday without having to exchange currency!!".

Anyway, I'm not desperately pro-euro but I'm in no hurry to reject any money that they throw in "our" direction, e.g. lots of signs saying that "the regeneration in this area was funded by some sort of EU grant". I've seen a fair few of those.
I'm a hypocrite. Maybe we give Europe lots of cash, and then get a similar amount back for these projects?
Maybe I'm less of a hypocrite?

Most of us don't agree with Taxation policy in this country but we all use the rules to get a refund if it's due.

The Lib dems don't agree with the election system but they still use it to gain 62 seats.

More examples on request. It's not hypocrisy to utilise the rules that have been imposed on you to optimise your situation.

I feel sorry for you.
