I have just bought the above car and everything is fine apart from the engine management light comes on intermittently whilst driving, also when the car is ticking over (especially when cold) the dashboard instrument lights and also the headlights seem to flicker from dim to bright. Once you are driving there doesn\'t seem to be this problem. didn\'t pay a lot for the car and it was bought as seen so was just wondering if anyone has any ideas what it maybe, and possibly a solution.
Had a similar problem a while back with a Primera and i think the problem was something to do with the alternator.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, there are many things to cause the Engine Man light to come the quickest way to solve this is a dIo test, alternitive, check all your connections, under the bonnet.
