turnkey property

has anyone here ever bought a turnkey house or flat?

 

What did this include?  Did it have crockery, duvets, curtains etc?

I have not purchased one, but I have built several dozen. A proper turnkey property should contain everything for the client to enter and immediately live - carpets, rugs, crockery, curtains, beds, bedlinen and beds made up,  cutlery, towels, soaps, cleaning materials, light bulbs and shades, floor lamps, TV, Hi-fi, computer, phones, literally everything including a stocked kitchen from a list of foodstuffs from which the client has previously chosen.

Just spoken to the estate agent!  Just to let you know, turnkey actually means full kitchen and bathroom, painted walls and carpets but no furniture.
