How can I take a picture of the screen on a normal PC? I remember it was using the F11 or F12 but no more. Can you help?

Press Print Screen button or Prt Scr (Depending on keyboard) this copies the whole screen to the clipboard. Then paste it into an application word or a paint program. (If you hold the Alt key whilst you press print screen you get only the active window.)

Thanks Kerplunk, but my keyboard doesnt have the keys u mention. Any other ways?
I use GrabClipSave which is available for free here http://boumchalak.net/index2.html It defaults to use the 'Print Screen' button on your keyboard, but I think you might be able to change it to use another key. Have a go anyway.
you have a PC and no alt or print screen/sysrq button?
Use the button "Pr Scrn" on keyboard, without minimizing what u wanna capture then press it. U should goto graphic editors like MS Paint and Press CTRL+V, save the image…
U could also try PCHand Screen Capture. It could help u capture anything on the screen, it offers seven capture modes. U can choose as ur need. It also provides a build-in editor with which u can edit and save the captured images. Im using it, it is easy to use, even for a Novice. …Hope it could help u!
