>There isn't in this country.
There should not be in any country.
This "control" (mostly by men over women) also extends to forcing women to "cover up" (burkah) or to walk behind the man in public, both of which are now very common sites in the UK (I am sad to say).
Throwing acid in a woman's face when she wont do what the man wants is also personal justice in some places.
And we let these people into our country !

'' ......It's all about control, power and dominance of others. Disgraceful. ''
In general , I dont think the British should protest too much about control and dominamnce of other people .
It's not too long ago that we were doing that ..... remenber the British Empire ?
To comment on this particular crime -I wish the media would cease from referring to this type of murder as honour killing - there is nothing honurable about it .
This is carried out by misguided , evil individuals , who are not fit to be part of civilised society .
The punishment should be life in prison , without paroll and hard labour .

I was promised to be shown the path to enlightenment though , by a very spiritual gentleman , but i got suspicious when he wanted a not to small donation to ' spread the word ' .
I'm sure many of the individuals in the British Colonial empire were interested in going ' native ' - but not for any altruistic motives
