I have a laptop using Vista with a faulty HD. I have another HD with Vista already installed and I want to transfer my Outlook emails and address book to this new one. Can anyone explain in simple language how I do this please?

Very very easy this way.

Create a folder, call it what you like, such as mails.

Minimise the OPEN folder.

Open your mail programme, then using drag and drop, move them to the open folder. The folder will open, so simply drop.

When completely done, close the folder, and then copy that over to your other PC using a USB memory stick, writable CD, whatever.

To transfer them back, just do the same but in reverse.

Note, I think this actually copies rather than moves, but that's no bad thing unless you forget what you've copied.
