i have a work colleague is in hospital after a serious stroke the hospital say its okay for me to lend him a company laptop there is no internet feed in the hospital ward ,does anyone no of a cheap short term answer to get this laptop running on the internet

If you are on a vodafone contract they might give you a wireless dongle for nothing i was offered this last month...
I had to sign an 18 month contract which ran along with my phone contract but the cost was nothing ...
They was giving these away as the didn't want to lose customers as other net works was offering the same deals...

It also included airtime of so many megs which can be set so you don't go over the amount aloud it is enough for every day surfing..

you can buy a dongle from 3, but you do need to establish that there is a signal in the room of use
