So it's that time of year again, and the inevitable question is what was the Best Film Of The Year? Do you go for the independant brilliance of Donnie Darko or the epic blockbuster The Two Towers? Or something completely different? The choice is yours...

Chalk me up one vote for Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones. Breathtaking.
Even including the wimpy character of Frodo (which must surely be the most annoying "lead" character ever even though my daughters love him and won't hear a word said against him), It has to be Two Towers.
Sorry Cactus, each to his own, etc. but those Star Wars things just seem to pass me by...
I saw Donnie Darko on the plane and was too tired to understand it. XXX was good, 28 days later was superb as well
It has to be the Two Towers, 3 hours has never sped by so quickly.
The Two Towers. Roll on next year!
LOTR 11 no contest !!
Bowling for Columbine - Michael Moore is a genius
No contest - Donnie Darko. I'm still thinking about it and trying to analyse the plot weeks and weeks after I saw it. Definitely my film of the year.
