Was your first born early or late?

I have been told so many times that first borns are most likely to be born late.
After asking a few people and I found that equally alot seem to have arrived early. So thought i'd post and see what seems to be more common.

My first son was a week late...and has been late for most things ever since :o)
Second son 5/6 weeks early & he's always in a rush!

First was 3 days early - second pretty much on time and third 2 weeks late and would still be there had she not been given a nudge.

The First of our four children was born three days earlier than the expected date.

I am the first born child and I was 21 days early, my brother was second born, he was 13 days late. My daughter (1st born) was a 7days late. My Sister in laws 2 children were both 5 weeks early, I don't think there's any pattern!

How long to go now?

first was writing a book, second was reading it :)

my first was two days late my 2nd was six and a half weeks early!!!

My first was six weeks early, the second was four weeks early.

both my kids were born 8 days late, too comfy for them.

Mine was 11 days late :)

My eldest son was born exactly on the day. Strangely enough he has always been a stickler for exactitude and preciseness, eg. he'll ring and say ' I'll be there at 7.33' Very annoying!!
Second son 10 days early.

My first was born on her due date and my second was 9 days early

my big sister was born 2 days late, I was 10 and a half weeks early and my little sister was 13 days late. Some of my friends have just had there first babies and one was a day late, another was 11 days late and another 5 weeks early. Can't really see any patterns!

i was first born for my mum and was 8 days late. my daughter and son were both 8 days late.

my brother and i where suppose to been twins but i was born 2 weeks earlier and he was a week late, so it confuses people as i was born dec 71, and he was born jan 72 but we are official twins

I had to be induced 18 days early as there were some problems with baby. On the morning I was getting ready to go to hospital, the mucus plug came away and then when I arrived at hospital I had small contractions before I was induced. So I wonder if my brain triggered something off as I knew I was going to have the baby on that day, or just coincidence? Good luck hope all goes well!

I had my first in June and he was 2 weeks late. I guess it will vary from person to person.
