how about 'air'plants,
Chlorophytum (Spider plants) are good for bathrooms as are most ferns, Orchids and Bromeliads. It will depend on the light level as to which are best but aim for any plant that likes it warm and humid.
Beau Carnia - my one loves my bathroom steam, and looks super cool too!

Look like a wig lol!

Thanks everyone, I will have a look at these on Google and will try a nursery for them. Will post a note letting you know what i have done.
A rather late posting but I've just returned from a "long journey" . What Intrigues me coalgirl is how you manage to kill off your Ivy plants on a regular basis, coz they are really as tough as old boots.
