In my bathroom I have a sink set in a marble top. The top is about 20 years old & is looking very dull.
I need to clean & polish it. Appreciate any input on how to do this.
If it were a marble top of mine, I would give it a good going over with 'Astonish' or some similarly formulated soft abrassive and then 'Brasso' it to a polished surface.
I would even be tempted to use 'wet and dry abrasive paper' as a starter. It certainly wont make the surface any worse than what it is at present.
Difficult and messy while it's in place. If you can take it out, take it to a specialist marble & granite company. They've got the kit to bring it up like new.

I'm just wondering whether some Johnson's Baby Oil gently polished into the surface and left for a while would help restore the surface. If you've got some in your medicine cabinet, it might be worth experimenting with.
