single bed sheets for a larger than normal single
8 Answers
I have a superking divan which zips together or can be two single beds, but the single sheets never fit because the surface area on the bed is big but also the depth of the matress itself in big so the sheet alway 'ping' off all the time.
so
a) does anyone know of any stores or makes that are bigger than usual 'over sized'
b) is there gadgets on the market that stop sheets 'pinging off' like straps or clips or something?
Thanks in advance

I have made fitted sheets of a form. Get a single sheet big enough for your size of single. A standard single should be suitable. Position on the mattress, with equal fabric all around. Pin and/or tack each corner to the depth of the mattress. Don't make too snug. Remove and hand or machine sew.
Dont worry about no elastic finish underneath, as on conventional fitted sheets. This method will create enough fit to keep the sheet in place. Tuck the sheet in under the mattress.
