KM Links Game - October week 5 results

Good morning all - this is the final week of the October contest of course and I know you're all waiting with bated breath to find out who is the winner, but there's a little matter of today's matches and who scored what and I'm running late, so you're all just going to have to be patient !!! Getting bossy, I know, but it happens !!!

Today's matches are as follows -

Needle Point
Rocket Science
Ink Stand
Toad Flax

and as one of you so rightly put it, too many choices, don't know which one to choose !!! and most of us didn't - Rocket Science was pretty popular, but only two takers for Ink Stand, five Needle Pointers amongst us and likewise, 5 takers for Toad Flax.

Four 'old hands' - if you'll excuse the term - and two comparative newbies - were canny enough to score 3 points for their two correct matches and they were LYSANDER, DEVADIVA, AQUAGILITY & GEN2 AND
TEARINGHAIR & BRYHER while a further 19 entries picked up a point to add to their tally, or in one particular case, no names mentioned, to finally open their tally, which they've been trying hard NOT to do for who knows how many months now.

Now I see the time is ticking away so I'll post this and be back with the Leader Board........S

The LEADER BOARD

There were a few changes to the placings after the 3-pointers moved into contention but it would have taken quite a spectacular effort to overtake the leader and there wasn't one of those so the winner for October is -

CHRISTIANA with 12 points - which goes to show she hasn't lost her touch at multitasking !!!

Next was LYSANDER with 10 points

LADYH finished with 9 points

DEVADIVA, NABOB & CPFCROSIEL all tied with 8 points

On 7 points each were LONDON_LASSY, TEARINGHAIR, JOOLS & ROSLYN251254

And on 6 points - ECCLES

Followed by a whole lot of us with various numbers alongside our names !!!

So Congratulations to all, you've all done very well !!!

Ok, next weekend is a new contest so after a good week, I hope to see you all, bright eyed and bushy tailed at the same time, same place, next Saturday ready to take on the world [ aka Kate Mepham]...till then, cheers Steff

Thanks Steff for all you do running this contest week in week out. I valued it even more this time, not being able to take part in MM. I don't usually do very well with Kate's links so concentrating just on hers seems to have worked well.

No, Miss Dusty - you have a total of two points to your name at the end of the month. The person in question is just being deliberately obtuse and owns a very large spoon !!!
