Planning of carol nite

I have been asked by my church to draw up a plan for this year's christmas carol. I dont have an idea on how to go as the church wants something different from the usual carol. Please assit me.

Do you mean a carol itself or a carol service - you are not clear? A carol service is about singing carols, so I think it will be hard to find a different way to sing carols! A different location perhaps? Visit an old people's home or down the pub?
