coronation Street on Wednesday

Does anyone know why Corrie was on on Wedneday this week? I missed it as I though the Wednesday one had moved to Thursday. Or is it still on so long a sthere is no televised game on.
Still, I don't think i missed much except for seeing Kym Marsh in a towel.

Coronation Street is always on a Thursday now,as it was tonight.
When there is not a football game,ITV fill in with such shows as "Midsommer Murders" etc as they did this week.

No they have moved it to Thursdays

Thanks pericat. So if there's football on ITV on Wednesday then there is no Wednesday Corrie.
If there is no Wednesday football then there may or not be a Corrie depending on whether there is a 'special' storyline. I bet they are losing quite a few viewers through this uncertainty.

because football kept moving corrie to a thursday they changed it to a thursday. Even if there is no football on a wednesday it is still on a thursday. I guess there was some big story line this week. I missed it

My apologies factor,you are right,there WAS an episode of Corrie on Wednesday (which I missed,as I assumed there was never an episode now on a Wednesday!)
Just WHAT are ITV playing at?
I supose it goes thus:~
No football~ Corrie on Wed & Thurs
Football~ Corrie on Thurs only?

as far as I am aware corrie moved to a Thursday because of the football........
for the first time since this happened for some strange reason they showed an episode of corrie this Wednesday even though this was not the first football free Wednseday.....programme planning gone mad...

Because usually when there is Football on a Wednesday, Corrie is on a Thursday but sometimes it goes back to a Wednesday if there is no football and sometimes it doesn't. Then again sometimes it comes on on both a Wednesday and a Thursday and you still get 2 episodes on a Monday and a Friday. But sometimes you don't get two episodes on a Friday or Monday. Depends whether there is a full moon and what side the penny comes down on.....................................

Have found my missing docs, they were in the lining of my new handbag, in a slit I had made specically for the purpose, but they were not there when I was looking. I searched and searched and emptied the bag and felt all around and there was nothing, then hey presto, suddenly they were there - I mean, what's that all about.

Now to see what language this appears in.

A few weeks ago, there was footie on Friday night, so no Corrie, which means they owed us 2 episodes. One episode was shown on Wednesday a few weeks back and the other episode is the one that was on the other night. That's the way I'm looking at it anyway!
