The staff at AB Towers would trace an IP and inform the police if they read something worrying on here. There's a question in law regarding touching a child but it's been locked with no answers. Also there's one in family life where the user thinks her 14 year old sister is about to run away with a 24 year old man.

The one in law seems to be an American poster, the reference to DCS (department of child services) gives that away,so there isn't much can be done about that one really, also the question seems to imply it was a malicious reporting and the child hasn't been touched at all.
the family life question surely although against the law happens all the time

I wondered what that meant Daffy.

I know 4get but not many people post it on a forum.
I think that there are a couple of issues here. Firstly, how are the staff in AB Towers to know the poster is for real and not just posting out of curiosity or to cause a stir? Secondly, if every moderator of every website reported to the police their suspicions of crimes, the police would be inundated.

I think there are caveats to this though. Remember the case where that chap committed suicide after being goaded by users of a forum? I think the moderators should have reported that. Secondly, if they found that a serious crime was being planned (an act of terrorism, murder, child abuse), they are probably under a duty to report it to NCIS.

I'm just wondering what someone would have to say on here to get alarm bells ringing.
