TV repair

I have an AWAI television that is quite old but has a very good picture & I want to use it as a second set.
The problem is that I press the power switch & then have to press a button with CW on it, sometimes it will work for 30 seconds & other times stays on for 30mins.
Is there a replacement part or is there any way this CW button can be disconnected?

For what you have to pay for a small television for a bedroom these days is it really worth the fire risk with an old model with a power switch problem ? I would bin it and sleep sound.
