Remembrance Sunday - HMS Glorious

I would normally be at the Cenotaph in London but am unable to make it this year.

We shouldn't forget anyone who died for their country.

If you're watching on BBC1, they just featured a man called Rolf Monteith. He is a member of our association.

Watching it now 10CSt as I do every year. It's always a beautiful and very moving service.

101.....there was an interesting story surrounding the sinking of HMS Glorious,...........Google it.

101....there is a church in the Lake District (can't remember where, although I have been to it) with a stained glass window to all who were lost in the sinking. Commander J.B Heath and family came from the Lake District.
