Waffle Dessert

Hi all. We were at a wedding reception recently and the dessert was superb. It was hot and contained waffles, raspberries with some kind of cream (or custard?) through it. Does anyone know what it is called and, better still, does anyone have the recipe? Thanks

Hi marval and thanks very much for your answer (sorry for the delay in replying). I'll remember that recipe - it's always handy to be able to rustle up a quick pudding.
