ok so I know I am going to get shouted down, but stop picking on these twins. At the end of the day they are still only kids, and some people have been so nasty and personal about them. Come on people get a life.

I know and agree they cant sing, but they are entertaining, and I think they are the reason people keep watching X Factor because they are drawing in the audiences, and makin money for the show.

Without the twins it would be boring....I do want Danyl to win, cos I think he is by far the best.

I have no intention of boycotting the show either.....

I absolutely agree with you jan - Ok, they're not so good at singing, but they were selected to go through, & obviously people keep voting for them - it's not their fault. I think them being in the final, especially at this stage is a farce - but don't take it out on them.
Like you said, they are only still young & I think the personal attacks and the boo'ing is now getting out of order. They are idiots, but they've been encouraged to be. And they do have feelings.

Simon, despite making out he hates their act, knew exactly what he was doing last night going to deadlock - he knew they had enough fans to keep them in.
At the end of the day, although the show is supposedly about singing talent, it is also about attracting attention, viewing figures and entertainment. Every year Simon loves the public to have 'hate' figures - Chico - Same Difference. This year it's the twins' turn.
But they are only young & I actually feel very sorry for them at all the boo'ing.

I watched the twins properly for the first time last night, and on you tube, with saturday nights ghostbusters performance............and yes.....they are entertaining but if this a SINGING talent competition, then why are they still in it?

They do entertain though and i agree that they should'nt be critised and booed as thay are only 17, is it?, fgs.

They are what they are and good luck to 'em..........what Cowell did to that young talented girl last night was unbelievable and unforgiveable and i can quite understand why so many people are outraged by it..........the decision made mrs bear have a grizzle last night, as she starts when she see's someone upset!!

The other reason he got rid of Lucie (he knew what he was doing) was because she is a threat to his lads Jamie, Olly & Danyl.
The twins are not a threat - Lucie was.
He's clever is that Cowell, but also cruel. What he did last night was awful and I hope a part of him feels really sh1tty.

Morning, afcjan, yogi and salla - I agree, it really pi$$e$ me off when the audience boo the twins and you see Louis laughing his head off. Mind you on the Xtra Factor on ITV2, Dermot actually turned to the audience and said lay off the twins, they are only 17, give them a break. I thought, good on you Dermot.

Well I think they are entertaining and lets face it they are going to be a household name now whatever happens. Who ever said it was a singing competition alone? Surely it needs a good all round entertainer. Simond has been criticising Lucie for a while now, and although I thought she was in with a chance of coming second to Joe in the final I think there were others who should have been in the last two last night. Jamie is a one trick pony and should stick to pub singing, and that other one who was in the bottom two a couple of shows ago was way out of tune. Olly is ok, and Lloyd will please the teenyboppers, but I still think John and Edward are the best entertainers - look out Ant and Dec they will be having their own Saturday night show before long.

I agree that if they were my boys I would be very hurt at the flack they are getting BUT they knew what they were letting themselves in for and seem to be enjoying every minute of it.
Their performance on Saturday was only passable because of the production, on Sunday they really showed themselves out of their depth.
Does anyone remember Pinky and Perky? Their performances are very similar.

2. Yes, they are only kids..so?
3. Correct, they cannot sing. (Is this a singing competition or a variety show?)
4. The show makes enough revenue without clowns.
5. Maybe you would change your tune if Danyl went out last night after giving a flawless performance.
6. You might not boycott the show, but hundreds of thousands will.
7. If this carries on, one by one all the other contestants will slide away and the Deadwoods will win. What a shame.

Through the years there have always been entertainment that has just been for fun if you go back these guys would have been court Jesters ,and when they had stopped being entertaining they would chop of their heads ,mount them on poles and carry them through the streets, now theres an idea,Ok I am of to get a life ..

I did not like the twins at first as I thought they were cocky but when being interviewed by dermot after their performances they are quite likeable and i admire the way they have dealt with everything. I think Joe is the most talented

Simon has proved once and for all that he wants the twins in the competition he is going to look stupid next week if he ridicules them as he had his chance to send them home and he didnt,I dont think it was tactical because lucie was a threat its all about the ratings people who wouldnt nornmally watch the show are now tuning in to see jedward.The twins were probably selected very early on by the production team thinking they would make good tv,a BBC reporter attended the auditions this year and she said you audition a few times before you even get infront of the judges.

They're RUBBISH! And as for them having feelings................I lost all concern for their feelings when they sung over one of the other contestants in the live auditions and then adopted a cocky and arrogant attitude when she confronted them about it!

Simon Cowell has always said of the acts in the sing-off, "we'll disregard what has gone before and judge the acts purely on this one performance" - yeah, right! TWADDLE! Lucie was STREETS ahead of those two eegits!

basically the kids belong in britain's got talent . they are a variety act not a singing act. So they get booed so what? sticks and stones and all that. They are obviously enjoying there fleeting moments of fame. Best of luck to them. If they win the X factor becomes a farce.
