Ginger gets a phone call from his Mum and a couple of minutes later the Indian turns up. My son answered the door and comes in to ask Ginger for the money.
He turns round and says 'can't you see I'm on the phone'
I say...'Maybe, but there's a man at the door waiting to be paid'
He then says to his Mum 'hold on I'm being nagged here' and throws his wallet at us. Not in a nice way either.
So, what is ruder...ordering food from someone and making them wait on the doorstep in the cold? Or saying to your Mum..can you hold on a sec I just need to get some money out of my wallet?
Don't worry ummm - he must have been a bit stressed - you know men they can't multi task (well neither can I actually but I can talk and get money at same time so I can a bit) but anyway he was being a grumpy git and I think you should tell him
Guilt has set in, ummmmm.................he'll be like putty in your hand later................but i would tell him that if he ever throws his wallet or anything else at you or your son in anger, you will not be so understanding!.
He phoned me earlier to make sure I'd got his nephew off to school. I forgot to mention last night....he said I was an embarrassment in front of his nephew and my sons. I asked him why he was talking to me like nothing had happened. He went on the defensive and told me I was rude so I hung up.
I don't mean to drag kids into it but I'm going to suggest to him that he asks their opinion....I haven't spoken to them about it and I won't....I'll let him ask them. They are old enough. We'll see what they say.....He won't get defensive with them and they won't lie to back me up.
It'll be fine. He's a good guy really but stubborn as Fluff...lol
Thinking about it and the last few weeks. Monday last week he told me that they have no work left and if the boss doesn't get a contract by Friday they are all gone. Luckily he did but I suppose that is playing on his mind....2/3's have already been laid off. He hasn't mentioned it since but....
