cable tv needs extending

Someone told me that this is possibel

I have cable tv from NTL.in the living room. Its the Full package. That you can with help of some kind of connection use it somewhere else in the house. Is this true

We use a video sender to send the signal from our NTL box in the lounge to the portable TV our bedroom. It isn't ideal though as we can't change the channel from upstairs; but no cabling involved and only costed about �50.

Perhaps thats what it is. But u say reception not very good? I will pay a visit to the Tv shop and ask them although one of the shops did not Know!
