how much does it cost for a loft conversion and do i need planning permission for it. My entreance to the loft is a small, rectangle in the ceiling. What do they do and how do they make the entrance.thanks in advance

2. What sort of windows, rooflights, dormers, hip-to-gable-flip, you may be thinking about.
3. Whether you have Permitted Development Rights.
4. How easy it is to place a new staircase in your existing room arrangement.
5. How much head-height is available.
6. Whether your neighbours will be affected...........

yep i want an extra bedroom or dressing room, just got two bedrooms and got 2 girls and a messy house, too much storage and no space. i dont know how much loft space i have, im not brave enuf to go up and luk, and i dont think i will fit in the small rectangle!!!.....im not that fat im only 9 stone and 5ft2

But I don't know anyone in South Yorkshire.
