(AB couldnt wait for me to finish)..EPS light comes on about once a month dealer says its the ps pump...£780....any other ideas...TIA

Hi again, We had this model ( Zafria) in the last place I worked, 1st if you can check the connections at the pump, 2nd, look for the fuse within your fuse box for the EPS & clean ( This fuse also covers a few more items) have you had any trouble with the steering other than what you have stated? If not, Its not your pump, ( Typical rip off dealers answer) regards Darrens A, all that will happen if the pump fails the steering will be very very heavy, the only thing that will happen is you need EXTRA muscle to turn the wheel. before you jump for a replacement check a few things out first.

Hi, obviously the components are mechanical but is driven Electrical via the fuse box, not sure the Fuse No, look in your handbook, as I have stated get your finding first before you start going in the direction of buying new or 2ND hand, but I will still go in the direction of a bad earth / connection in the system, it would be interesting for all to know in case they on AB has the same problem, Good Luck.
