Hi, I have a Blackberry 8900Curve. Now, I recently installed the Desktop Manager Software and was attempting to create a safety backup on my pc for all the info, photos etc on the phone, when the whole thing seemed to crash - "Fatal Error" message on the PC, and "App Error 200 on the Blackberry, unable to switch on or off without removing battery;the handset is now pretty much inaccessible - I have tried transferring the SIM into another (same model) Blackberry, and it seems to work ok, so seems like it is a problem purely with the handset (putting a different SIM in the troublesome phone does no good - still Error 200) -

however, I have important data and pictures which I need to access on the first phone, (and naturally I need the handset itself to be up and running again) so I was wondering if anyone was familiar with this problem, or had experienced similar? Would like to be able to sort the problem out from home if possible, rather than have to take it in, as I work for a charity and we don't have vast amounts of cash to throw at mobile phone shops - any ideas? Thankyou very much in advance!! Trillipse x
