Thought I may be need of some *good bacteria* so I bought some of these little pots to drink.
However, the last couple of days I have been dashing to the loo with griping pains and also
diarrohoea.
Has anyone had suffered this, drinking activia?

That is what it is supposed to do..........Google......... Bifidobacterium animalis.
Try Activia yoghurts instead of the drinks, they are much gentler on the stomach.
you may have a sensitivity to one of the ingredients? I have the same reaction to eating any yoghurt so I avoid them.

Thanks a lot for your replies. I did google Bifidobacterium animalis Sqad - thanks for that.
I will use the yogurts Daffy654
I try to keep healthy, but I will stay clear from now on.
Thanks again.
There was an article in the paper last week about the contents of some of these pots. The expensive ones had many billions of bacteria in them and the cheaper ones not so many. In fact activia was near to the top and Tesco own brands which contained just a few million came bottom. Maybe you should start on the own brand first.
