I'm needing help with a movie title?

I remember watching one afternoon one of these tv movies on channel 5.It was set in America.This man buys a pocket watch from a junk shop he manages to fix the watch & one day on his train journey the train goes through a tunnel & he ends up back in the 1800's in a small American town.He mangaes to get back to his own time & ends up going back again in time & becomes friends with a woman who runs the local newspaper in the town.He himself works in advertising.I seem to recall there is a scene where there is a gas explosion.The movie i would say was made in the early 90's.Can anyone help please?.

The film is For All Time starring Mark Harmon and Mary McDonnell, I think. It was on tv some months ago. I quite enjoyed it! (check imdb)
