Canon LaserBase MF3110 multifunction - Windows 7 driver
I have looked everywhere I can think of, Canon included, for a Windows 7 driver for this multifunction printer/scanner/photocopier. Canon say, "They are working on one," but I wonder if that is just a cunning-ploy, to keep me out of their hair.
I was very disappointed with the results when I Googled, as nearly every site was one of those that 'scan your PC and tell you how many drivers you need to update'. Of course, you can quickly accomplish this by paying for a subscription to their service.
Anyone hear of any site that may be able to help?
Anyone hear of any 'time-scale' when a driver might be released?
So far, I really am enjoying Windows 7. It's the first time I have upgraded so quickly into a software release.

However, the scanner and printer 'seem' not to be functioning as before. And, I have had one or two odd hang-ups. The unit is getting a bit old, but I'm sure it has a lot of good working-hours left, so I am a bit loath to replace it.
If it is only going to give me an occasional 'hiccup,' I can live with that.
Thanks for such a rapid and useful reply
I agree about the Vista and Windows 7 drivers. With the exception of my Adobe PhotoShop, everything else is working (so far) just fine.............mostly in a noticeably faster manner.
