I dread hearing the names announced, as my nephew is out there now. I feel bad when the name read out is not his as I sigh with relief. But it is getting that I dread seeing my brothers calller ID on my phone now. It's almost every day we are hearing these names read out. It's becoming too regualr isn't it?

kos....I understand.......it is difficult sometimes to convey your sentiments on a forum and one may be easily mis understood.

kos....do you know that some people on AB find me arrogant , rude, confrontational, aggressive, uncaring, a fraud....yes a fraud.... a con man would you believe?

Yes.....they are correct.........I AM all those things.

I am sorry kos but in as much as you are saying all the very fine things you have said, I object to my lolling as you call it, being linked with a disrespect of our armed foeces, you will notice I used the term only when I asked if 1980 was the year you were born! but in another thread you asked 'rudley' was there anyone else I disliked?
this could go round and round, but I won't let it, suffice to say, I repeat, I respect the Armed Forces and I hope you can understand that, sqad, again is correct, it is hard to make yourself come over as you wish to

yes but like I have definately said more than once, i was referring to the emotions and worrries of the families at home, I can't identify with the bravery of our armed forces as I am not brave at anything.
I worry about my family -thats a given -what ever they are doing if they are out my sight. That is perfectly normal however just because they are out my sight I then dont worry about every knock on the door.
I am a born worrier but I have learned that I cant be there to protect them all the time therefore I cant allow myself to dwell Dot.
I dont believe you nor anyone sits every night a bag of nerves waiting for terrible news.I dont get that impression anyway -I may be wrong tho.
thing is Dris and dot, we don't know because we are not in that position, it is an emotive subject and we have all shown what our different attitudes can be, I can only see that we all have something in common and wish those brave soldiers well in the task they do

I do worry about them all, ny three kids and my grandson and I remember in the old house, which was street fronted, every time one of them went out of that front door i would shout, 'mind the road'!!! Even if they were just popping round to the shop! I always think of the worst and then forget i thought it when they turn up ok, I don't know how my sister-in-law feels but her dad was in the army and she always travelled with him and so she has a different back ground of experience to draw on,.
That reminds me ..... Joy, what happened to your donut?

I don't believe diddydonuts post of 18.14 in any case..............a complete fabrication and tissue of lies.......as far as I am concerned.
