Making space on vista drive C:
When we bought our computer when vista first came out it said it had a 120 GB hard drive but in reality when you go to the computer section it shows as two drives at under slightly half this amount each. One is labled Vista drive C: the other Data Drive D: Every thing we do or any music we download goes on the vista drive while the data drive remains relatively empty . The vista drive now has 23.8 GB space left out of 55.6 GB. I know that this is not good for performance. Is there a way we can put our music on drive D: but still access it from Windows media player when we want to transfer it to an MP3 player . Any help in simple terms would be appreciated. Thank You.:-D

I use Drive D all the time for all my own files as well as downloads from the internet.
I don't use the 'My Documents' folder (on drive C) at all. The only new files that have gone onto my C drive are additional programs that I have installed.
I have no problem accessing any of my data on drive D.
I would suggest you open up two windows, One for Drive D and one for your 'My Documents' on C. Highlight all the contents and drag them across. Ascertain that they have successfully transfered and then delete the original content from your 'My Documents'. Do the same with your pictures and music. You can always make shortcuts and place those in your old folders.
