I know it is for a VERY GOOD cause, but does any one else think it is insensitive for people to be bidding £35,000 to have a meal with Michael Palin Maureen Lipton and Terry Wogan and over £20,000 to have a make over with Gok Wan in the "things that money can't BUY" auction on the Terry Wogan show when nearly 3 million people are out of work, and £35,000 is an absolute fortune to some , and others have this sort of money to throw away so to speak..
Surely a national raffle could be arranged at say £1 a ticket then all could have a chance to win one of these so called money can't buy prizes, not the fortunate few monied people.
Roll on the New year when we will no longer have to put up with the inane witterings and obsession with food from Terry Wogan's breakfast show. and Chris Evans will bring some adult entertainment to the nation.
