What is wrong George Hamilton's arm - I missed the first few episodes and why is him and Kym kept out of some of the trials through medical issues - what are the medical issues.

george is suffering from permatanitis and his skin may peel off to reveal his exoskeleton if he is exposed to to much water , not sure about kim

kim said she didnt know why she was being kept from doing certain trials for medical reasons as the only thing she takes are tablets for high blood pressure so im assuming that is the reason

If some have medical issues they should not be in there as it is not fair to the others. Everyone should be able to take part in all the trials,
