Hi Folks

I own a 2000 BMW 330d and recently have had problems with the DSC warning light coming on even when he car is being driven in a straight line at slow speeds.

A diagnostic check has thrown up a 'Steering Angle Sensor' fault ....

Has anyone else encountered this and if so can the sensor be recalibrated/reset or is it a full blown replacement .... if it's the latter, can anyone gimme an idea of costs involved ?

Thanks folks.

Car on level ,with ign on, turn steering wheel full locks once either side.Return stg wheel to centre,Turn off ign,Wait for approx a minute plus. turn igntion to position one than off. IF still on you require diagnostics reset. Would not worry about cost yet keep your fingers crossed.
