It's amazing what they know and what they don't. I got myself in trouble at my brother's once. It was just after I found myself single again last year and I was asked the usual "so have you met anyone yet?" To which my reply was "II've given up on men and I am going to be a lesbian next time"

As if by magic, my 7 year old niece chirps up

"What's a lesbian" - Cue me, red faced and my brother laughing his head off telling me that I had to explain myself. Oops

I told her the truth! My nephew was giggling away. Mind you, the mere mention of "bra" sets him off.

IMy girlfriend was going to be out all day (so I thought) and she nagged me to wash-up before she got back. Well, you know how it is, i got interested in the football i've taped, then a new high-score on Mortal Kombat - anyway it boils down to i didn't wash up and she came home early...I jumped up feeling guilty and went into the kitchen to do it, and began to run the water into the bowl...but i couldn't find the Fairy liquid (or whatever it is we use) anyway annoyed I stomped into the lounge and shouted Where's the bloody 'licking up wash-wid' - it was so silly we couldn't stop laughing....writing it down just makes it look stupid...

OK the last time I laughed so hard it hurt has just been updated, it's now about 5 minutes ago!

Another manager here at work just announced to a room full of people that they can't work on the circuit boards unless they have a strap on!

I think he meant an anti static strap, but he really should have stopped and thought about what he was about to say!

Another example of that was my daughter asking "Dad, is there a ring around Uranus?"

I just told her that I wash regularly so I would hope not!!
