In the Ministry of Magic there is a fountain called the Fountain of Brethren (which was destroyed in battle) could the Fountain be a clue in the battles against Voldemort? Could it being destroyed in the Battle at The Deparment of Mysteries be an ill omen, in which the alliance between creatures and wizards be destroyed, such as told in the 5th book?

who the hell is going to know that apart from the author herself!
I think that is an omen. The Dementors where on the ministries side and went over joining Voldemort, and there is another one who joined him but I cant remember them. Im sorry. But I think yes. Didnt dumbledor say that they are not the only one who will join Voldemort?
