When you're bored, does anyone try linking one artist to another by way of loose connections to other artists? For example, who can get from Madonna to Michael Jackson in the least links? (Thought I'd start with an easy one). Oh, and the links themselves don't have to be musical but it's preferable :)

I can link Pink Floyd to Level 42 through Douglas Adams - He supplied the Level with their name and played on stage (guitar) with the Floyd. as for Mad,donna to Wacko how about she sang like a virgin so she doesn't have sex and he doesn't either he just tosses kids from balconies!
(struggling with memory) Didn't they both sing on that USA for Africa We Are The World thing? I'm 99% sure Jacko did, but not sure about Madge. :o\

Well not what I expected, but that's half the fun of AB! I was thinking of something like: MJ's 'you are not alone' was written by R. Kelly, who did 'I believe I can fly', which featured a gospel choir, as did Madonna's 'Like A Prayer'. Hope this doesn't make it kinda sad :s
"3 wheels on my wagon" New Christie Minstrels - TO - 'Eve of Destruction', Barry Maguire vocals on both songs . Linked to Mamas And The Papas' hit Creeque Alley ('McGuinn and McGuire were just a-getting higher in LA, you know where that's at' and the Byrds leader McGuin..
Beethoven to Ice T is a favourite. Beethoven was loved by Malcolm McDowells character in a Clockwork Orange - then Malcolm McDowell went on to star in Tank Girl with Ice T. Compact and bijou !
