Aliens - The Movie experience in Piccadilly

There was an interactive experience based on the movie "Aliens" near Picadilly Circus. This was many years ago but I have very fond memories of it.

It featured actors dressed as marines welcoming you to a facility when the lights go out. All of a sudden there are alarms and the marine tells you to run. There are dim lights ahead and strobes. Then an Alien appears and you run faster. After that you try and escape in a lift but the alien pulls the roof off.....

You quickly forgot it was a put on and got right into it.

My questions are. Does anyone have fond memories of this and was it ever reconstructed anywhere else - perhaps at a theme park?

At The Trocadero, Piccadilly Circus.......remember it well........great stuff........and i loved the film too.

"Alien Wars" opened last year in Glasgow.

A few years ago I saw the Alien props (Alien Queen, eggs etc) from that Trocadero experience in a prop house called Weird and Wonderful...

Its at a film theme park in USA too. Universal Studios or Warner Brothers I think.
My mum went on it and said it was the scariest thing she had ever seen.

Apparently there was a ride there in Orlando....been pulled.....Men in Black ride there though.

I went to the original at The Arches in Glasgow about 20 years ago and loved it. I took my teenage daughter to Alien Wars again at the Arches in August this year - I loved it again but my daughter wasn't so keen, it was all a bit too scary for her. The premise this time was that during renovation works to the building, some sort of craft of non man made materials had been discovered in the foundations, and a guide was going to show it to us. Pretty soon there was a power failure and we were to evacuate the building as he admitted to them finding alien life on board. He did a lot of shouting into his radio and told us the creature had escaped. He kept running off to secure our exit and leaving us alone in the dark and then the alien would appear. Classic stuff :)

Hi I went to the one at Trocodero in Piccadilly Circus it was great fun and you did forget that they were actors and then ended up running screaming into the centre hahah loved it
