6. Sounds like a detective's favourite town (5) - I don't think it is Lewes because there is also a section for Sussex names and it's not in that one

I still like LEWES for number 6.
Maybe the reason it is not in the Sussex section is because the setter has used Lewes here in the main section (if that is where this is). The setter is unlikely to use the same place in both sections.
