Again another child is mauled by these evil evil dogs, apart from the fact these were bred by the owners as a status symbol should these evil things be either muzzled or be put down? Also should the police be prosecuted for not taking this complaint further knowing these dogs had been previously been reported?

In this particular case, I happen to feel the police are partially responsible. They were reported to on several occasions that dogs were being bred at the property and they didn't (couldn't be bothered?) to respond.
There are far more dangerous people around than dangerous dogs!!!
I put the blame fully on the dogs owners. The poor animal should never have been bred in the first place. Wild animals belong in the wild not with irresponsible thugs and hooligans. The dog was doing what comes naturally to it. TWR seems to think I put dogs before people, I just don't like the word 'evil' applied to animals.

I've always had dogs, and I would agree that the owner of vicious dogs is usually to blame, but we once bought a beautiful Bull Mastiff puppy that became a potential killer. She'd mixed with people, we'd taken her to training classes and she was fine up until the age of two, and then she just turned. We were at our wits end - we didn't want to put her down - but we couldn't take the chance of her attacking anyone, so we asked the Bull Mastiff Society for their advice. They knew the breeder, and said he was renowned for interbreeding his own dogs and hence creating a vicious strain. Several had had to be destroyed - and sadly, ours was another. I think the breeders also often have a lot to answer for. When a dog is dangerous there is no alternative but to have it destroyed.

Lofty, If I have taken you answer the wrong way I apologise, I do not term each breed of dogs evil but these things are, each time you see a photo of them look in their eyes, regards evil people I have my own views on them in the same context as evil dogs that is, put the basds down they do not do it again I think WE BOTH AGREE ON THAT. XX
I'm glad we are friends TWR. But I still maintain that animals cannot be evil. Perhaps the photos of these dogs are made to look evil!! What really upsets me is that beautiful little Staffies because they look pit bull like are being purchased as status symbols and treated really badly and made to be vicious.

I don't know about putting evil humans down - it goes against my principles - but lock them away forever........!! x

Hi, I just got very cross that someone would think I put a vicious dog before a child TWR. It set me off. I'm not usually that volatile XX
