i want a baby

i always wanted kids i am 21and he is 24 we have been together for 5 yrs now and i really want a baby but he does'nt until at least another 5 yrs, he knows i want one cos we have talked about it b4, we have th money we got our own place we both got decent jobs, both of my sisters have kids and i think they are lucky they both had kids young which to me that is a good thing cos have kids young live life later that is what i wanted to do....

DEN.....funny yiu mention that.....I first ask the little one if he would bend down in front of the chair, but he just wouldn't keep still, so I had to resort to his book.

im 21 an i have baby and trust me as much as i love her to bits and wouldnt change anythin! im so jelous of all the girly holidays n nights out all my friends are havin! live a littlie first!!!!

i talked to him about it and it turns out he would like to have one aswel now, money is not an issue with us , so we talked about it and we might be trying this time next year cos we are about to buy our own home and we want to decorate and everything thanx guys xxxx

and i have had loads of hollidays and fed up of going out wasteing all that money so i dont think am ready i know i am......

Hi rachael88,

Sounds like the same kind of thing as with me and my boyriend! I am 22 and he is 2 and we have been together nearly 6 years. When we first met we said no talk of marriage till after 5 years and no talk of kids tll I am atleast 25! I hve found myself not wanting to wait that long but he always just kind of ignored the subject if it came up! Randomly this weekend he soundly said 'We should have kids!'.

We havent talked properly about it yet, I have pretty much said it is down to him when he is ready, but at the mo would not be a good time to think about it as he is out of work and I am likely to be made redundant on Christmas eve!
