Changing the

How can I modify all those items on my left click desktop "New" menu? - cannot find them all in the "new" file in explorer, so are some only in the registry?

I suppose you mean your right click desktop "new" menu? Anyway, simply go the C:\WINDOWS\SendTo folder. There you can add/remove the entries you wish. Some are just short cuts, as you can see. I recommend backing them up before you modify things. You just never know ... Cheers, PD
